Make Happen

Essex Youth Service is working with 'Make Happen' to boost young people’s futures by raising aspirations and promoting interest in Higher Education as a route to achieving a young persons ambitions. We work together to inspire young people to find what it is that they want to achieve and then nurture and support them to make it happen.

We have received full funding for this project and are working across secondary schools in Essex to set up eight school information points run by trained peer mentors. We are also delivering a range of group workshops, 1:1 targeted support and outreach events with the aim of breaking down barriers to sustain Education, Employment and Training outcomes. If you would like to find out more or are a secondary school or FE provider and would like to express an interest in working with us on this exciting project please do so by contacting us melinda.chivers@essex.gov.uk, 07717802991 or kirby.cassdy@essex.gov.uk, 07740902271.
