You can now book your place on one of our 2025 expedition packages. Payment is taken upon booking which secures the booking and there is an option to pay by instalments to help spread the cost. It is only possible to book the expedition package advertised, we are unable to offer a pick and mix of different expedition options. There are two sets of Bronze dates to choose from. Expedition Pricing
The total price is payable at point of expedition booking or can be paid in three instalments. The price is inclusive of:
- Bronze (4 days), Silver (7 days), Gold (11 days)
- Qualified and experienced leaders
- All accommodation and campsite fees
- Use of group equipment
- Expedition assessor reports
- Silver and Gold only - travel to expedition start included
Expedition Booking Confirmation and Joining Instructions
Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email which confirms the booking. A joining instruction email will be sent to you no later than 2 weeks prior to the start date of your expedition detailing times and locations.
Expedition Kit List
We have created our own expedition kit list so you can get prepared from the get-go and a visual reminder of how to pack a rucksack. Download the kit list

Silver and Gold Training Days
The training day at Silver and Gold level is mandatory training that the participant must complete prior to the expeditions. The training day led my our DofE staff team will be focused on bringing further to life expedition skills in a practical hands-on environment. Participants will get to grips with use of the map and compass, first aid scenarios and risk management scenarios. Bring a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
