Digital Champions – Brentwood based volunteering opportunity

  • For 14-19 yr olds  
  • A 12-week volunteering opportunity
  • Involves 3 weeks training and 9 weeks of working in the community
  • Participants working together in pairs, accompanied by a DBS adult
  • Digital champions will be based either at: St Peter’s Church in Hutton, Brentwood Theatre, Maple Hall (3 arch bridge estate), Ingatestone Library
  • Digital champions will be mostly working with older people. They will be facilitating self-paced learning via Learn My Way, a free online tool for learning digital skills from the basic to the more intermediate/advanced
  • To get started, participants will need to sign up to become a Digital Champion with Barclays here.
